Rome: second event in the “Music and Spirituality” series. Under the title “Music and Eternity,” Corrado Augias and Aurelio Canonici introduced the audience (also through numerous piano examples) to pieces by Haydn (The Creation), Beethoven (Ninth Symphony), Wagner (Lohengrin), Strauss (Thus Spoke Zarathustra), Mahler (Symphony Four, “The Heavenly Life”), Arvo Pärt (Spiegel im Spiegel), and Schoenberg (A Survivor of Warsaw). Aurelio Canonici also performed his own piece “Aura” on the piano.
