…The Tenor was accompanied by the Conductor Aurelio Canonici who inspired the Szczecin Philharmonic by demonstrating authentic Italian fervour and remarkable sensitivity for the cantabile quality of the music. Despite the fact that this Orchestra rarely plays opera works, it was able to admirably accompany the Soloist, and the audience appreciated the technical perfection of the Overture from Verdi’s Forza del Destino, where the Conductor obtained a passionate tension and theatrical sensitivity that is rarely heard…
