Legnago: Two events in Salieri’s hometown on November 30th and December 1st, at Bevilacqua Castle, hosted by Rotary, and at the Cotta State High School. At both events, Aurelio Canonici’s piano lesson was titled “Music and War: How Great Music Has Represented Historical Battles Through the Centuries.” At the high school, over 250 students actively participated in listening to and commenting on music by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Wagner, Verdi, and Shostakovich.
