Maestro Aurelio Canonici: his lecture about the creation of the Symphony n. 4 of Tchaikovsky

On 3 July 2018 Aurelio Canonici was a guest of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Rome. Conductor, composer, teacher in Conservatory, artistic director and lecturer, the multifaceted artist gave a musical lecture on the Symphony n. 4 in F minor, op. 36 of the great Russian composer P.I. Tchaikovsky. Maestro Canonici illustrated to the guests of the Center the genesis and history of Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece, performing some pieces on the piano. This type of conference represents an innovative way to bring the public and classical music lovers closer to the discovery and to a deeper reading of the masterpieces of the great classical composers, accompanying the part narrated with the audio, video and live performances.
